Enrollment Information

Kennett Preschool offers classes for 3, 4 & 5 year olds. Class sizes are as follows:

3 year olds – 8 children

4 year olds – 8-13 children

5 year olds – 13 children

Returning families (current and alumni) may submit their application for enrollment, along with the $75 non-refundable application fee during the first 3 full weeks of January. A lottery will be held for any classes that have more applicants than space available. Parents should indicate their 1st, 2nd & 3rd choices so that they have a greater opportunity for enrollment. Families will be notified of their child’s placement during the last week of January and first week of February.

Join Us For Open House!

We invite all prospective families to learn more about us by attending either of our Open Houses. No appointments are necessary. Come during the hours offered and one of our staff members or parent volunteers will give you a tour and answer questions you have. We will have signs to direct you where to go once you arrive. Tours usually take about 15 minutes and children are welcome, but parents may also come on their own. Applications will be available for you to take.

Open enrollment begins for new families the first school day in February (February 1st). $75 non-refundable fee. Acceptance upon availability. Please indicate 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices.

Upon acceptance, September tuition is due in order to secure your child’s spot for the upcoming school year. Tuition must be paid in order to hold your child’s spot. Tuition is only refundable upon KSPC’s ability to fill the opening.

9:00-10:00 AM – New student facility tours

We are very excited to offer our new 2024-2025 KSPC students a tour of our school!

We invite our new KSPC students and families to join us for a short walk-through of our building on Wednesday, May 22nd. Arrive any time that is convenient for your family between 9 and 10am. A KSPC teacher will greet your family and take you on a short walk through the building and then out to the playground. This is a teacher in-service day, so our current students will not be in the building. Our school is small so tours will be no longer than 10 minutes. Once outside, your family will have the opportunity to visit our playground if you choose. This entire event is an optional activity. Please do what your family is comfortable with. Our official Student Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4th. More information will come in your summer mailing in early August.

Receive a 2% discount when tuition is paid in full by Sept. 30th (cash or check only – discount does not apply to credit card payments). Discount applies to Oct.-May tuition. Sept. is paid in full.
